App crashes during compression

Try restarting the app and ensure you have sufficient storage space on your device. For large files or batches, close other apps to free up memory.

Compressed files look different from originals

Adjust the quality slider to a higher setting. Remember that some quality loss is normal with compression - use the preview feature to find the right balance.

Batch processing is slow or stops

Large batches require significant processing power. Try processing smaller batches (10-20 files) at a time, and ensure your device isn't overheating.

Can't find compressed files

Check your Photos app in the 'Recently Added' album. If you saved as copies, originals remain unchanged. Use the search function to find files by date.

Error message: 'Insufficient storage'

Free up space on your device before compressing. You need temporary space for processing even though the final files will be smaller.

Video compression takes too long

Video compression is more intensive than photos. For best performance, compress videos one at a time and avoid using other apps during processing.
