Compressly is a mobile application that helps you compress photos and videos to save storage space on your iOS device. The app processes all media locally on your device without uploading your files to any external servers.
App Features
- Free Version: Single image compression with unlimited usage
- Premium Version: Batch processing, smart presets, and advanced compression features
- Local processing - your media never leaves your device
- Support for JPEG, PNG, HEIC, MP4, MOV formats
2. Acceptable Use
You May Use Compressly To:
- Compress your personal photos and videos
- Reduce file sizes to save storage space
- Optimize media for sharing or backup
- Organize compressed files in your photo library
You May Not Use Compressly To:
- Process copyrighted content you don't own or have rights to
- Compress illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
- Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app
- Use the app in ways that violate local laws or regulations
3. Premium Features and Purchases
Premium Subscription
- Price: $19.99 one-time purchase (lifetime access)
- Features: Batch processing, smart presets, advanced settings
- Payment: Processed through Apple's App Store
- Refunds: Subject to Apple's App Store refund policy
Important Purchase Information
All purchases are final and processed through Apple's App Store. For refund requests, contact Apple Support directly. Premium features are tied to your Apple ID and will work across devices signed in with the same account.
4. Privacy and Data Protection
Your Privacy
- We don't collect, store, or transmit your personal data
- All compression happens locally on your device
- Your photos and videos never leave your device

Photo Library Access
- Required for the app to function properly
- You control which photos the app can access
- Can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings
- Only accesses photos you specifically select for compression
5. Disclaimers and Limitations
File Safety
- Always backup important files before compression
- Compression may result in quality loss (as intended)
- We recommend testing compression settings on sample files first
- Original files can be replaced - this action cannot be undone
Limitation of Liability
Compressly is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any data loss, device damage, or other issues that may arise from using the app. Always backup your important files.

- You retain all rights to your photos and videos
- You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to compress any content
- We don't claim any rights to your media files
